• Ibrahim Al-Marashi: Crime Bulletin Reflection (csusmchronicle.com) — At Cal State San Marcos, history professor Ibrahim Al‑Marashi is using his outdoor Women and Gender in the Middle East class to unpack recent campus crime bulletins about sexual assaults in the dorms. Students discuss how university language can downplay rape and fondling cases, question campus security, and call for holding perpetrators—rather than women—responsible for safety.
