• County Supervisors to consider closing San Pasqual Academy, again (kpbs.org) — San Diego County supervisors will vote May 19 on whether to begin phasing out San Pasqual Academy, the residential foster youth campus that has served local teens since 2001. With enrollment and state funding down, officials propose supporting current juniors and seniors through graduation while gradually transitioning younger students and exploring new community uses for the San Pasqual campus, from housing to health and workforce services.
