A good tip for great tea - “Temperature”

One of the most important factors that go into making a great tea, is getting the right temperature. High temperature can cook the delicate tea leaves. Fill your tea pot with fresh cold water, and heat to the following general specifications. Do remember, temperatures can vary based on how each tea has been processed.

White tea: 180-190 degrees
Green tea: 160-180 degrees *The greener the tea, the cooler the water.
Black Tea: 200-205 degrees
Herbal Tea: 200 degrees
Oolong: 190 degrees
