3.6 Magnitude Quake Rattles North Bay

Tremblor was reported at 3 a.m. this morning.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.6 was recorded near The Geysers in Sonoma County early this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremblor was reported at 3:11 a.m. about 5 miles northwest of the Geysers, which is a geothermal area north of Healdsburg.

The earthquake had a depth of 2 kilometers, according to the USGS.
