Active Shooter Response Training This Week At San Anselmo School
The training will take place on the Saunders Avenue side of Sir Francis Drake High School.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – Authorities are conducting active shooter response training this week at Sir FrancisDrake High School in San Anselmo. The training will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday on the Saunders Avenue side of the campus.
Police advised the public that armed officers, firefighters and emergency vehicles from Central Marin Police and Central Marin and Ross Valley fire departments will be at the scene. In order to make the exercise as realistic as possible there will be loud noises, shouting and role players participating in the training, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.
"Please don’t be alarmed when you see or hear the emergency response to the school," police said in an announcement. "There is no need to call 911."
