A fun and interactive duo moves in next to Taco Janes at 25 Tamalpais Ave, unit C. Shelly Gerrish and Candice Roper offer classes, summer camp, and unique birthday parties to kids of all ages.
Have a party, capture the fun! Why not throw a party where the photography is part of the experience? Owner and photographer Shelly Gerrish brings a unique new way to celebrate at Captura photo studio. She sets up a fun backdrop, brings in trunks full of costume and props, and let’s everyone play and be silly in front of the camera with their friends! Perfect for your child’s birthday party, she offers themes such as a Princess Party for girls and a Superhero Party for boys. She’ll even arrange decoration and catering, so all you have to do is show up and have fun! Shelly also offers after school photography & eclectic art classes, where she teaches the art of photography, and how to use photographs to create unique gifts and pieces of art. Summer camp will begin in June.

As if that weren’t enough fun, Candice founded the Lost Art Sewing School in the same space, where she teaches sewing skills and encourages creativity through fashion! With six complete sewing stations, this is a fun and interactive environment with plenty one on one instruction for each child. Candice currently offers classes Monday through Thursday afternoons, and will open up for summer camp in June. This is another creative place to hold a birthday party or special event, where each child will create their own outfit, with the option to have a fashion show photographed by Shelly in the next room!
