Apply: Open Seats Available On Marin Human Rights Commission
Supervisor Katie Rice is seeking community members to represent District 2, which includes the towns of San Anselmo and Fairfax.

SAN ANSELMO-FAIRFAX, CA – Want to get involved in your community? Apply for the Marin Human Rights Commission.
The commission provides a public forum, serves as a resource to the community, and advises the Marin County Board of Supervisors on human rights issues. The mission of the commission is to promote a community based on social justice, with equality for all, and to eliminate discrimination based on race, religion, color, age, ancestry, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, place of birth, national origin or disability.
One at-large seat is open and available to applicants who reside anywhere in Marin County.

Supervisor Katie Rice is also seeking community members to represent District 2, which includes the towns and neighborhoods of Gerstle Park, Lomita Park, Bret Harte, Sleepy Hollow, San Anselmo, Fairfax, Ross, Kentfield, Greenbrae and downtown Larkspur.
The application deadline has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11.

Applicants may apply online or learn more about the application process by calling the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at 415-473-7331.
