Armed Robbers Target Man At Golden Gate Vista, Flee Into Marin: CHP

Two of the four suspects were just 14 years old, according to authorities.

The California Highway Patrol has arrested four Fresno residents, including two juveniles, on suspicion of robbing a Marin County man at the Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point. The victim said four young males demanded personal electronics items from him at gunpoint while he was at the scenic location on Tuesday.

CHP Officer Andrew Barclay says it happened around 3:25 a.m. Tuesday.

"The victim stated that four young males had approached him at the Vista Point and had demanded personal items at gun-point," Barclay said in a news release. "As officers were responding to the area they were advised that both the victim and vehicle containing multiple suspects had left the area and driven into Sausalito."

Once in Sausalito, the victim, who had apparently followed the suspects, showed CHP officers where they had parked the vehicle and fled, according to Barclay.

During a search for the suspects by the CHP and Sausalito and San Rafael police, Andrade Andres, 21, of Fresno was detained at the suspects' vehicle. The victim positively identified Andres as one of the robbery suspects and he was arrested, Barclay said. The three other suspects were not found.

Then, at around 7 a.m., Sausalito police received a call about three males looking into unoccupied vehicles on residential streets. Police responded, detained the three additional suspects and notified the CHP, Barclay said.

The CHP interviewed the three additional suspects at the CHP office and arrested them for their involvement in the robbery.

Andres was booked in the Marin County Jail for felony armed robbery, and Jackson Reese Bauman, 20, was booked in the jail for robbery and being an accessory to a crime, Barclay said.

The other two suspects, two 14-year-old boys, were booked in Juvenile Hall for robbery and being an accessory to a crime.
