Arroyo Avenue Closed At The Alameda Thursday, Friday in San Anselmo
The closures were rescheduled from last week.

SAN ANSELMO, CA — The intersection of Arroyo Avenue and The Alameda will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday for emergency road repair and completion of the Town of San Anselmo's 2016 Pavement Rehabilitation and Preservation Project.
In a letter to residents Tuesday, the contractor, Ghilotti Bros. Inc., said the work includes removing and repaving unstable soil on Arroyo as well as finishing the paving of the Arroyo/The Alameda intersection.
"We expected, and scheduled for, Arroyo to be completed last week," the letter stated. "Unfortunately, as we were paving on Friday, we discovered an isolated area of unexpected soil instability. Thus, we do need to come back again to complete the work."
