Bicycle Pump Track Proposed for Fairfax
A community meeting is scheduled regarding the project.

FAIRFAX, CA — A bicycle pump track is proposed for Peri Park in Fairfax, with a community meeting scheduled for community members to learn more about the project and provide input.
The Fairfax Parks and Recreation Commission is holding the meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8 at the Women's Club, 46 Park Road.
The track being proposed for the grove area of Peri Park, adjacent to the bocce ball court, near the Women's Club would be designed for young children ages 5 to 10. A bicycle pump track is an elevated bicycle path designed for riders to enjoy at the same time, according to city officials. The track features a series of rollers and berms constructed using compacted dirt.
