Body Found in Car in Novato ID'd as San Anselmo Woman

The coroner's office did not release the cause of death for Julie Narz, 56, but no foul play was suspected.

The Marin County coroner’s office has identified a woman who was found dead in a vehicle in Novato earlier this month as Julie Narz, 56, of San Anselmo.

The coroner’s office did not release details about her cause of death.

Narz was found unresponsive in a vehicle at 2:12 p.m. on Sept. 19 at Kristin and Simmons lanes in Novato, Novato police Lt. Oliver Collins said.

Paramedics found a small dog in the vehicle that appeared to be suffering from heat exposure, Collins said.

Police said there did not appear to be any foul play associated with Narz’s death.
