Night of the Poets, Open Mic

Calling all poets and wordsmiths! All ages are welcome to join us for the San Anselmo Library’s Night of the Poets, Open Mic edition on Thursday, October 8 at 7pm. Whether you’ve been writing for years or have never shared a poem out loud before, this is your chance to take the mic in a warm, welcoming space.

Bring an original poem, a favorite piece by someone else, or just come to listen and cheer others on – all are welcome to attend.

Poets can sign up onlinein advance or we will take sign-ups at the door. Space is limited to the first 25 poets.

We ask that all readers choose 1 poem to read in 2 minutes or less.

Enjoy refreshments after the readings and meet your fellow poets.
