Central Marin Police Authority To Host Drug Take Back Day

The event, which coincides with National Drug Take Back Day, is slated for Saturday at Central Marin's Larkspur and San Anselmo stations.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – The Central Marin Police Authority is offering community members a chance to clear out their medicine cabinets and safely dispose of unused and expired prescription drugs.

The event is slated for Saturday. People can drop off their unused and expired prescription medicine between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Larkspur station at 250 Doherty Drive and at the San Anselmo station at 525 San Anselmo Ave.

This service is free and part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Drug Take Back Day, which aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.
