Central Marin Police Authority's 'Coffee With A Cop' Canceled

The Central Marin Police Authority covers Corte Madera, Larkspur, San Anselmo and portions of Greenbrae​.

The Central Marin Police Authority has canceled its "Coffee with a Cop" event Thursday at Rustic Bakery in Marin Country Mart.

LARKSPUR, CA – North Bay community members will have another chance to chat with personnel from the Central Marin Police Authority during "Coffee with a Cop" Thursday in Larkspur.

Police officials said they aim to provide an opportunity for "informal, friendly conversation between community members and police officers" with these events.

"We plan to hold 'Coffee with a Cop' quarterly and will vary the days, times and locations in order to make these events available to many people as possible," said officials with the Central Marin Police Authority, which covers Corte Madera, Larkspur, San Anselmo and portions of Greenbrae.

The Central Marin Police Authority is holding three "Coffee with a Cop" events in February.

The second of three events is scheduled 4-5 p.m. Thursday at Rustic Bakery in Marin Country Mart, located at 2017 Larkspur Landing Circle, Building 5, in Larkspur.

The first event was held Feb. 9 in Corte Madera. A third event is set for 4-5 p.m. Feb. 23 at Peet’s Coffee & Tea in Red Hill Center, located at 896 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in San Anselmo.

Officers plan to answer questions, offer tips and share information about services and programs provided by the Central Marin Police Authority.
