'Coffee with a Cop' Event Planned in San Anselmo
The Central Marin Police Authority is inviting area residents out to an informal gathering in which you can meet the officers who serve you.

LARKSPUR, CA – The Central Marin Police Authority is inviting area residents out as it holds 'Coffee with a Cop' events in all three of its local communities during the week of December 12, 2016.
Local residents and members of the business community are invited to join CMPA at any one of the following locations:
- Monday, December 12th in San Anselmo from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at The Coffee Roastery, 701 San Anselmo Avenue.
- Tuesday, December 13th in Larkspur from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Emporio Rulli, 464 Magnolia Avuenue.
- Wednesday, December 14th in Corte Madera from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Café Verde, 502 Tamalpais Drive.
The purpose of Coffee with a Cop is to provide an opportunity for informal, friendly conversation between community members and police officers. No agendas or speeches. Officers will be happy to answer questions, offer tips, and share information about services and programs provided by CMPA.

The very first Coffee with a Cop event originated with the Hawthorne, CA Police Department in 2011 and has grown into a national initiative supported by the US Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing. Similar events are held by other law enforcement agencies in Marin and across the United States.
