Costume Swap Event at the Marin Country Mart Farmers' Market

Come to the Marin Country Mart Farmers’Market on Saturday, October 25, to celebrate the spookiest day of the year at our annual Halloween Carnival & Costume Swap! Bring a costume, get a costume: The swap will be held from 9:00-1:00, where you can trade in your gently used costume and swap it for a new one!

With the goal of reducing the waste so often affiliated with the holiday season,EcoMom Alliance of Marin and the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market has come together to host the 5th annual Marin County Costume Swap.

Did you know that swapping just half the costumes kids wear at Halloween would reduce annual landfill waste by 6, 250 tons, equal to the weight of 2,500 cars?

Throughout the market, you can enjoy festive Halloween treats from a variety of vendors, including apple pressing and fresh apple cider.

The award-winning carver behind Art Chef will be visiting the market from 11:00 to 1:00 to create incredibly elaborate pumpkin carvings.
