Fallen Trees, Power Outage Reported In San Anselmo

Police urged motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – Multiple fallen trees left thousands of Pacific Gas & Electric customers without power in San Anselmo Wednesday, authorities said.

The trees are down at Humboldt and Forrest avenues, according to the Central Marin Police Authority. Crews from the fire department, San Anselmo Public Works and PG&E are at the scene.

PG&E reported on its outage map that 3,094 customers have no power in San Anselmo. The outage started shortly before 5:30 p.m. Power is expected to be restored by 8:30 p.m.
