DUI Checkpoint Slated For Saturday In Marin County

The CHP said the checkpoint is scheduled on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in the area of La Cuesta Drive in unincorporated Marin County.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – The California Highway Patrol is conducting a DUI sobriety and driver license safety checkpoint on Saturday. The checkpoint is scheduled on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in the area of La Cuesta Drive in unincorporated Marin County, according to the CHP Marin Area office.

During the Saturday checkpoint, officers will be on the lookout for drivers with signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Officers will also check for valid licensing.

No other details, including an exact time for the checkpoint, have been released.

The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
