Beekeeping for Beginners

This workshop is designed for those with little or no knowledge or experience with honeybees. 

In this class, you’ll develop a basic understanding of the honeybee hive!

Topics include:

• Basic bee biology and hive structure
• Pests and diseases of bees
• Cost and time required to get started as a beekeeper

And, you’ll have an opportunity to taste some local honey! 

Cost:     $35 per person (proceeds benefit Sustainable Fairfax & the Marin Pollen Project)
