Martin Griffin Preserve
The Martin Griffin Preserve (formerly the Bolinas Lagoon Preserve) opens to the public for the nesting season on Saturday, March 19, 2011. This coincides with the annual return of Great Egrets and Great Blue Herons to one of the most significant and most studied nesting sites on the West Coast. Hike to Henderson Overlook for a bird's-eye view into the nesting site, explore 8 miles of hiking trails, three ponds, bird-watching, education hall, nature bookstore, and enjoy your picnic lunch and more.

A $15 donation is suggested. Donations of any amount are appreciated. The preserve offers access for people with disabilities.
