Are you over 55 with a love of reading, a fondness for youngsters and some time on your hands to share your skill sets as a tutor in San Rafael elementary schools?
Experience Corps Marin has a few volunteer positions still open this year for volunteers to join our staff of 70 talented tutors who work with K-3 English Language Learners on five campuses.

Meet up with other baby boomers interested in mentoring and tutoring at a free open house on Tuesday, October 18, from 1:30-2:30, at the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership in San Rafael.
Experience Corps, an award-winning national program, recently entered into partnership with AARP. Sponsored in Marin County by Northern California Presbyterian Homes & Services, Experience Corps Marin holds monthly open houses and provides three free hours of orientation for individuals who join the program. Mentors and tutors must be available for at least four hours each week.
