Repotting Workshop with the Marin Bonsai Club

Bring your tree in and work on it with Tim Kong and Jay McDonald at the Marin Art and Garden Center. Fee is $10 for members, $20 for non-members.

The Marin Bonsai Club is an organization dedicated to promoting the ancient art of bonsai (Japanese for tree in a pot). We strive to create interest and inspire participation by both advanced and beginner artists of bonsai and to increase its enjoyment. In bonsai, our ultimate goal is to create an image of an ancient tree of the forest, in miniature.

We also supply and coordinate information on bonsai. This is done through demonstrations of visiting bonsai artists at our monthly meetings and workshops, and through our annual shows.
