Frank will review the basics of the living roof, construction, species selection etc., and will discuss performance of species and the unforeseen problems and solutions that we have encountered to date. What worked and what didn't work. He will review the list of native species currently growing on the roof with notes on how they have and are performing, as well as include an overview of how we are using the roof in other ways beyond its sustainability function – a public exhibit, outdoor classroom, and as a setting to conduct focused research projects with a managed landscape. There will be plenty of time for questions.
