Alex Hooker of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy will describe how this former army base has been transformed into a national park. He will highlight the native plant restoration projects at Crissy Field, Lands End, the Presidio Bluffs and the Tennessee Hollow watershed. He will take us behind the scenes to learn how thousands of volunteers were recruited, seeds were collected and propagated and acres of plants were installed and monitored.
