The Marin County Free Library has expanded their hours at branches in Bolinas, Inverness and Stinson Beach with help from local voters, according to library staff.

Those branches have traditionally closed for lunch and dinner breaks, forcing patrons to leave for an hour before the library reopens. With the passage of Measure A in June 2014, however, those branches will be able to provide service throughout the day starting June 1.
The expanded schedule will reduce inconvenience to library patrons who would otherwise have to leave the facility at lunch and dinner time, then come back an hour later and try to resume what they were doing, according to a statement from MFCL Director Sara Jones.
