Creek Road Bridge and Meadow Way Bridge – Upcoming Geotechnical Borings
The Town of Fairfax is currently engaged in a bridge rehabilitation and retrofit project. Creek Road Bridge and Meadow Way Bridge are two of the bridges being assessed.
As part of this assessment, on Thursday, March 13th, engineers and technicians working on the project will be drilling small diameter holes to sample the soils at both bridges in order to better understand the condition of the ground. The engineers plan to start at Creek Road Bridge in the morning and then move to Meadow Way in the afternoon. In case of rain, the tests will be rescheduled.
