Fairfax Brings Back Townwide Picnic

FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax is bringing back an annual community event lost to the coronavirus last year.
The town later this summer will hold its townwide picnic.
The event will be held at Contratti Ball Field Sept. 19 from noon to 5 p.m.

The community event will feature some old-fashioned games along with arts and crafts activities.
A music lineup will feature the teen band Banana Soup, Nick Brown & Friends and Last Chance Summer Dance, which will feature 80’s Motown dance music assembled by Jason Minkler.

Beer from Iron Springs will be available for purchase at this event.
Masking requirements will be enforced for unvaccinated attendees.
