Fairfax Family Rescued After Mudslide, Fallen Tree Traps Them in Home
Marin County Fire and Ross Valley Fire Department firefighters saved two grandparents and their two grandchildren.
FAIRFAX, CA – Firefighters rescued a Fairfax family Tuesday evening after a mudslide and fallen tree trapped them inside their house during the heavy storm, according to Marin County firefighters and sheriff's deputies.
Marin County Fire and Ross Valley Fire Department firefighters saved two grandparents and their two grandchildren from their home in the 300 block of Olema Road in Fairfax, officials said in a statement posted at 8:29 p.m. on social media. No injuries were reported.
