Fight Ends In Stabbing Near 'Marin’s Got Talent' Event In Fairfax

A 26-year-old man from Santa Rosa was stabbed in the back and head in downtown Fairfax, police said. The suspect is still at large.

FAIRFAX, CA – A Sunday night fight in downtown Fairfax left a man hospitalized with multiple stab wounds in the back and head and his brother arrested.

Police spotted the brawl during a routine patrol at 10:47 p.m. in the Parkade across from the 19 Broadway Bar and Night Club, which was hosting a rap event called "Marin’s Got Talent," according to the Fairfax Police Department.

When the people involved saw the police car, they fled in many directions, said Fairfax police Chief Christopher Morin. A police officer stopped a vehicle fleeing from the scene and found the stabbing victim inside.
