With huge budget cuts to education, it’s up to us to support our schools. Parents, business partners and other community members play a critical role to help supplement funding the education of our children. Show your support by bidding on great fundraising auction items to help support Marin schools and/or attend their fundraising events. If your school has a fundraising event or online auction please let me know or leave a comment.

The Kiddo! Gala is sold out but you can now bid on great items on the Online Auction to help support this amazing organization. Browse, register, and bid by phone on over 200 awesome items: Restaurant meals, toys and gifts, loads of summer camps, vacations, tickets and more. Your purchases help Kiddo! keep Mill Valley’s K-8 public schools blooming with art, music, poetry, dance, drama, and tech. The online auction closes at 11:59PM this Tuesday, March 3.

Saturday, March 14, Willow Creek Academy will host its annual “For the Kid in You” benefit. Kids of all ages are invited to a free ice cream social in the afternoon featuring Lappert’s ice cream and kid’s crafts. The fun will continue into the evening with an adult’s night out featuring food, dancing and a wide selection of fabulous auction items at Idesst Hall, 511 Caledonia Street, Sausalito. Tickets are available for advance purchase and the Online Auction is currently open and accepting bids, as well as previewing silent auction items which will be available for bidding at the event.

On March 14, 5:30pm at the Osher Marin JCC, join SHOWCASE, Marin School of the Arts premier annual event, featuring the best of what MSA’s teaching curriculum and unique Arts education environment brings to our community each year. For one night only, Showcase presents exhibits and performances in all of our arts disciplines, including collaborative and interdisciplinary work in cinematic arts, dance, digital arts, photography, creative writing, visual arts, music, and theatre arts.

Join the Yes Foundation on March 28th for party in the gym, Fab Food, Totally 80’s Tunes, Bombin’ Beverages and Awesome Attire Approved. The Yes Foundation provides every child in the Ross Valley School District access to a complete education that includes meaningful and sustained exposure to the arts and other vibrant educational programs as an essential part of the student’s school experience.

Starting on April 21, 2015, YES will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money. The online auction will be live soon.

On May 9th get ready to Rock the Casbah at the Club House in Peacock Gap to benefit for Bacich and Kent Schools. Enjoy a live & silent auction, dinner and dance to the live music of Wonder Bread 5. kik, or kentfield invests in kids, is the fundraising arm of the Kentfield Schools Foundation. The Foundation was created to supplement the District’s budget to ensure our kids receive the best possible education regardless of how our schools are funded.
