How To Get Involved In The Fairfax Festival

The Fairfax Festival is returning, bringing arts, music, a parade, games and more in June. See ways to get involved.

FAIRFAX, CA — After a two-year hiatus, the Fairfax Festival is back. On June 11 and 12, Marin County residents will be able to enjoy a parade, the EcoFest concert, wine and beer, food and drinks, arts and crafts, kid’s entertainment, and a flea market.

There are three ways to get involved in the Festival.

  1. Enter the parade: The Fairfax Festival Parade will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, and will make its way from the Fairfax Theater, down Bolinas Road, and end at Park Road. If you are interested in participating in the parade, fill out an application here. Any questions can be directed to Merrell Maschino at festivalmerrell@gmail.com.
  2. Volunteer: Staff will need help before, during and after the festival with tasks like set-up, breakdown, kids’ games, decorations, and more. If you are interested in volunteering, email fairfaxfestivalvolunteers@gmail.com with the subject “Festival Volunteer.”
  3. Become a vendor at the Flea Market: If you have jewelry, arts, crafts, music, clothing or more to unload, you can apply to be a vendor at the Flea Market. Booth space is available from 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday. Booths are 10x10, and cost $120 for the weekend. See here to learn more and apply.
