Officers searched the area but did not immediately find the suspect or his vehicle. An hour later, an officer spotted the suspect's vehicle traveling westbound on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
Police conducted a traffic stop and found six airsoft weapons inside the vehicle, Morin said. The driver, Anthony Lawrence Baylacq, 51, of Fairfax, told officers he only "dry fired" the weapon at the victims.
