Man Punched, Robbed Outside Marin Bank: Police

Two suspects are being sought, and police are also looking for any witnesses to come forward.

MILL VALLEY, CA- Police asked for the public’s help Thursday in tracking down two suspects accused of robbing a man outside of a Mill Valley bank.

The incident happened around 4:15 p.m. at the US Bank branch at 767 E. Blithedale Ave., according to Mill Valley police.

“An unknown black male adult, approximately 25-30 years old, approached the male victim,” police said in a news release. “The suspect struck the victim in the head with a fist and took a bank deposit bag.”

The suspect took the bag and got into a white Toyota Corolla with paper plates that was being driven by another black man, according to police. Both suspects and the vehicle remain at large.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be checked out, police said.

“It was noted by several subjects on scene that additional witnesses may have taken photographs of the incident,” police added.
