Marin County's Unemployment Rate Among Lowest In Bay Area
In California, the unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in October, compared with 4.1 percent nationwide.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – The unemployment rate in Marin County is among the lowest in the San Francisco Bay Area. Unemployment rates were below 4 percent in October in eight of the nine Bay Area counties, according to the California Employment Development Department.
Marin County had the second lowest rate at 2.6 percent, behind San Mateo County at 2.5 percent and followed by San Francisco County at 2.7 percent.
Unemployment rates were between 3 and 3.5 percent in Santa Clara, Sonoma, Napa, Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Solano County had the highest unemployment rate in the Bay Area at 4.3 percent.
