Marin Man Embezzled Over $600K From Senior: Police

MARIN COUNTY, CA – A San Rafael man suspected of embezzling more than $600,000 from a 96-year-old woman's trust account has been arrested in Pennsylvania, a Mill Valley police sergeant said.

Donald Alan Wilson, 50, who owned Ross Valley Capital in San Anselmo, was under investigation for fraud and embezzlement for two months, Sgt. Ryan Smith said.

The alleged thefts occurred over a five-year period starting in 2013, Smith said this morning.

Mill Valley police obtained an arrest warrant through the Marin County District Attorney's Office for Wilson on March 29.

Smith said Wilson was taken into custody by the Lower Merion Township Police Department in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and could be extradited within two weeks.
