MARIN COUNTY, CA – Applicants are sought to fill a vacancy on the Marin County Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Commission, and the appointing Marin County Board of Supervisors is seeking those with technical and practical experience with pest management, according to the county.
The IPM Commission oversees implementation of the Marin County IPM Ordinance and Policy, and makes recommendations to Marin County Parks’ IPM coordinator and board of supervisors. The focus of the commission is on landscape-maintenance practices and pest-control activities at county facilities, officials said.
The nine-member commission meets four times a year at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael.
