Marin Seeks Volunteers For Coastal Cleanup Day
California Coastal Cleanup Day is Saturday, Sept. 16.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – California Coastal Cleanup Day is coming up, and Marin County is preparing to do its part.
The county is seeking volunteers to help pick up litter and recyclables at a variety of locations from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 16. Locations include the Mill Valley-Sausalito Multiuse Pathway, McInnis Park, McNears Beach Park, Hal Brown Park at Creekside, Kent Island (starting at 10 a.m.) and Aramburu Island.
Following the cleanup, volunteers will receive a free BBQ lunch at the Bay Model in Sausalito. There will also be a raffle with prizes.

All ages and skill levels are welcome. No previous experience is necessary. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
