Pedestrian Struck, Injured By Vehicle In San Anselmo

The women was taken to Marin General Hospital for treatment.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – A 41-year-old woman was struck and injured by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in San Anselmo, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.

The woman was not in a crosswalk when she crossed Red Hill Avenue west of Forbes Avenue around 4:40 p.m., police Sgt. Paul Barrolaza said. She was struck by a silver Chrysler in the westbound No. 1 lane of Red Hill Avenue.

The women was taken to Marin General Hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Barrolaza said.

It does not appear that drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision, Barrolaza said. The investigation was ongoing.
