San Anselmo Baseball Association takes advantage of some nicer weather to celebrate opening day.

SABA was finally able to celebrate opening day yesterday, after rain cancelled the parade last Sunday. Though the little league wasn't able to have a parade, they did take advantage of the milder weather to have opening day festivities. Pitcher Gunnar Sandberg, 17, of Marin Catholic, threw the opening pitch to celebrate his return to baseball after a devastating accident last year, where a line drive hit him in the head and left him in a coma for weeks. His opening pitch marked the start of the SABA baseball season.

Play ball!
