Power Outage Hits San Anselmo-Fairfax Area
No estimated time was given for service to be restored.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Power is out this afternoon for nearly 2,500 customers in the San Anselmo and Fairfax areas, according to Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
The utility first reported the outage that is affecting 2,498 households shortly after 2 p.m., and no estimated time was given for when the lights would come back on.
As of approximately 2:40 p.m., the cause was listed as unknown.

Another outage affecting 758 households in the Stinson Beach area was reported by PG&E this morning shortly before 11 a.m. Power was expected to be restored by 9 p.m. tonight, and the cause appeared to be an equipment issue.
