Creeks and Watersheds

No matter where you live, your actions influence watersheds and creeks. In Marin, all storm drains flow directly to local creeks, bays or the ocean without treatment. Marin County has over 3000 miles of natural creeks. Some of the creeks remain relatively natural, while others have undergone many changes, such as dams and channel alterations resulting from development within the watershed.
