San Rafael police are hoping someone may recognize the man pictured in this composite. Do YOU know him?

SAN RAFAEL, CA- San Rafael police have released a sketch of a suspect in an attempted carjacking Monday.

The male suspect walked up to a car stopped at a red light at Third and Heatherton streets around 7:30 a.m. The man pointed a handgun at the 28-year-old driver from Rio Vista and demanded he get out of the car, police Lt. Alan Piombo said.

The driver refused and the suspect repeated his demand as a second male suspect opened the right rear passenger door and took personal property from the back seat, Piombo said.
