San Anselmo Downtown Merchants Advised to Prepare Floodgates

The Central Marin Police Authority​​ issued an alert after the creek level reached 8 feet.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – The Central Marin Police Authority advised downtown merchants Thursday to prepare floodgates.

As of roughly 3:50 p.m. the creek level is at 8 feet, which officials said is a second-level alert, meaning possible threat to life or property. Due to the flood conditions, merchants should be prepared to install flood gates, officials said.
