Winter Reading Challenge December 16, 2019-January 31, 2020. Sign up for the San Anselmo Library's Winter Reading Challenge! Curl up with some good books this winter and earn prizes for reading. The last day to collect prizes is Friday, January 31. The Winter Reading Challenge is for all ages.

Sketchbook Drawing Workshop: Interior SpacesSaturday, January 11 11am, Council Chambers. Continue or start a new sketchbook drawing practice in this workshop with professional artist and teacher Janet Jacobs. In this class, we will learn how to draw objects that are near to us versus objects that are farther away. Explore the space between objects in your art and discover how to draw objects both near and far. All materials will be provided and space is limited. Art Talk TuesdayLunar New Year: The Year of the RatTuesday, January 14 12pm, Council Chambers. Celebrate the Lunar New Year in this presentation from the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. The Year of the Rat is the first animal in the zodiac and will start the new twelve-year cycle. This talk will explain the Chinese Zodiac and explore various customs and practices surrounding Lunar New Year through art.
