San Anselmo Online Survey Seeks Marijuana Input From Residents

The town council wants your thoughts on how to regulate marijuana in San Anselmo.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – Community members have a chance to weigh in on how marijuana should be regulated in San Anselmo.

In November, voters approved state Proposition 64, which legalizes possession, transport, use and transfer of marijuana for people 21 years old or older and allows personal cultivation of up to six living marijuana plants at a private residence. The law, however, also provides municipalities with the authority to regulate marijuana-related activities.

Marijuana uses are currently prohibited in San Anselmo commercial districts.
