San Anselmo Town Council to Consider Marin Sanitary Service Rate Hike

The San Anselmo Town Council is set to review a 5.71 percent rate hike from Marin Sanitary Service at the council's next meeting.

SAN ANSELMO, CA – The San Anselmo Town Council is set to consider a 5.71 percent rate hike from Marin Sanitary Service at the council’s next meeting.

The cost of a standard 32-gallon can is proposed to go from $36.62 to $38.71, an increase of $2.09. All other services are also proposed to go up 5.71 percent as well.

The next town council meeting starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10. The staff report for the agenda item is slated to be posted on the town’s website on Friday, Jan. 6.
