Special Traffic Enforcement Operation Conducted In Marin County
Officers on Monday will be on the lookout for violations, specifically speeding, police said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Central Marin Police Authority officers will conduct a special traffic enforcement operation Monday, in an effort to combat speeding in Marin County.
Officers will be on the lookout for violations, specifically speeding, police said.
Police said they hope the operation will reduce collisions by cutting down on distracted driving.

"Our goal is to educate motorists about the dangers of driving at an unsafe speed for conditions," police said in a statement. "We want to remind drivers in our communities about the danger of driving too fast, and to make the streets safer for everyone."
Central Marin Police Authority serves Corte Madera, Larkspur, San Anselmo and portions of Greenbrae. The traffic enforcement operation will take place in various locations throughout the agency's jurisdiction.
