Spring
is a busy time of year at Tomales Bay!
Wildflowers are budding, ospreys are starting to nest, and the bat rays
have returned to their seasonal home in the bay’s shallow waters. We’ll keep our eyes and ears opened for
birds, flowers, fishes and other interesting characters. Our exploration begins at the Heart’s Desire
Beach tidepools during low tide before we walk ½ mile to Indian Beach to check
out a freshwater habitat. Binoculars and magnifying glasses will be provided.
Bring a lunch for a picnic on the beach.
