FAIRFAX, CA – A routine patrol resulted in an arrest and the recovery of a stolen bicycle early Thursday in Fairfax.
According to the Fairfax Police Department, Officer Daniel Boyd was patrolling the community when he saw two people riding bicycles and "acting suspiciously" around 5:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Center Blvd.
After approaching the pair, the officer learned that one of the subjects, who had no permanent address, was currently on probation with a "lengthy arrest history" in Marin County, Fairfax Police Chief Christopher Morin said.
