Garage, 3 Vehicles Destroyed In San Anselmo Fire
The blaze sparked at a home in the 100 block of Hillside Avenue.
SAN ANSELMO, CA — A fire erupted at a home Wednesday afternoon in San Anselmo, destroying property and sending a large plume of smoke over Central Marin.
The blaze sparked at a home in the 100 block of Hillside Avenue. Personnel from Central Marin Police Authority and Ross Valley Fire Department responded and found the structure "fully engulfed" in flames.
Nearby homes were evacuated while firefighters battled the flames, according to Central Marin Police.

Crews contained the fire to the garage. The garage and three vehicles were destroyed, according to the Marin County Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
